Born and raised in a southwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois, Patricia Hackel attended Oak Lawn High School and Northern Illinois University. She now resides in Slatington Pa. She has three children and nine grandchildren living in three different states. An avid reader her whole life, when she retired as a General Manger for White Castle fast foods, Patricia decided to pen her own novels.
Deadly Refusals, a suspense thriller published in 2008 was her first novel.
Can't Conquer Love, a romantic mystery and the first in a series, was published in 2011.
Love Isn't For Just a day the continuing saga of the Spencer and Anderson families is the second novel of her Can't Conquer Love series.
